You bought the game, they don't care what you do with it after that as long as it's not violating any copyrights.
Thats your first step
Either dont reset the dodges to 0 on a failed dodge.
Or make it so you can set the dodges manually.
Hopefully someone makes a mod so this still needs work from the player but also makes it much more reasonable e.g. allow 10 failed doges before reset or reduce dodges needed by 90% or something.
It is trivial to detect memory access vectors such as ArtMoney or CheatEngine, and it's equally plausible that such detection would only be actionable if you were ever reported by another player, at least for single-player games like FFX. In other words, you won't know if they caught you until it becomes actionable, so bear that in mind if you ever get tempted to run those apps in multiplayer environments, as that might obviate warnings and lead to immediate ban-hammer.
Personally, I'm more worried about the CE installer requiring administrative privileges to install when it can run portably. The author's stance on "trusting downloadable executables" is laughably removed from reality, and seems like an attempt to convince people that his unsafe download is actually safe.
