It sure beats, you know, playing the game normally and grinding Sphere Levels to complete the grid, don't ya think?
Congrats, though. It sure is an "achievement" to painstakingly press a button over and over to complete the Sphere Grid rather than do it legitmately.
Has anyone confirmed whether or not using the cheats unlocks the achievement? Because one thing is just activating nodes, another is actually moving across the entire grid by leveling up.
EDIT: Did some digging, and to "complete" the Sphere Grid, that involves not only unlocking all the Sphere Locks across the grid, but also filling them (as well as any other blanks) with nodes. So unless I'm mistaken, you'd still have the level up and work your way across the entire grid. /thumbsup
I think the Sphere Grid is fast enough as it is. Myself and those I know playing right now aren't even using the Turbo toggle because it's more of a pain than a benefit in general (outside of level grinding).
It's tripe when most of your time is spent obtaining the levels and not allocating them across the grid itself.
Or, for example, using Turbo when trying to dodge lightning for the Venus Sigil would be masochistic. It's there and has its uses, but for some things it just isn't necessary.
It's tedious, sure, but if it's not worth the headache, then simply don't do it. I still don't see how it would speed things up significantly to make a difference. That time can be saved with using Turbo through level grinds, as well as using the Max Item booster.
I maxed the Sphere Grid on the original game (PS2), the Japanese/International import (PS2), the Japanese HD import (PS3/Vita), the HD release (PS3/Vita), and lastly on PS4. There was no "turbo" option for any of these, and it was still done without any headache.
