Please activate Turbo Mode on the sphere grid
At least while the animations are running. They're too slow. Even with a bot, activating all spheres takes hours...

And while you're at it, skippable cutscenes would also be great. Thanks.

That's a great idea actually. Activating sphere after sphere, character after character would get pretty tedious.

Activating all the nodes is an achievement. An achievement that takes hours because of the sheer time it takes to activate every node. This would be sped up considerably if the speed boost worked in the menu.

It sure beats, you know, playing the game normally and grinding Sphere Levels to complete the grid, don't ya think?

Congrats, though. It sure is an "achievement" to painstakingly press a button over and over to complete the Sphere Grid rather than do it legitmately. :steammocking:

Has anyone confirmed whether or not using the cheats unlocks the achievement? Because one thing is just activating nodes, another is actually moving across the entire grid by leveling up.

EDIT: Did some digging, and to "complete" the Sphere Grid, that involves not only unlocking all the Sphere Locks across the grid, but also filling them (as well as any other blanks) with nodes. So unless I'm mistaken, you'd still have the level up and work your way across the entire grid. /thumbsup

Yeah that's what's being discussed. It isn't relevant how the sphere levels where obtained. You still have to activate all the nodes manually. Which takes hours. Using the speed boost doesn't make it not legitimate, imo.

I think the Sphere Grid is fast enough as it is. Myself and those I know playing right now aren't even using the Turbo toggle because it's more of a pain than a benefit in general (outside of level grinding).

It's tripe when most of your time is spent obtaining the levels and not allocating them across the grid itself.

Or, for example, using Turbo when trying to dodge lightning for the Venus Sigil would be masochistic. It's there and has its uses, but for some things it just isn't necessary.

Not entirely true. Anyone who has got the Perfect Sphere Master achievement knows how long it takes JUST filling nodes in on the sphere grids. That alone takes hours. Turbo mode would definitely shave some time off.

This is what warp spheres are for. During the end-game when you should be going for the max'd sphere grid achievement just farm those in the arena. You're going to have to be smart about this stuff or, yes, that achievement will take you a VERY, VERY long time.

It takes a long time regardless. Even if planned and executed 100% efficiently. There is simply no "fast" way to fill in and activate every single node with every single character.

No, definitely not. But it can be downright masochistic if you try to do it without warping around the sphere grid :)

It's tedious, sure, but if it's not worth the headache, then simply don't do it. I still don't see how it would speed things up significantly to make a difference. That time can be saved with using Turbo through level grinds, as well as using the Max Item booster.

I maxed the Sphere Grid on the original game (PS2), the Japanese/International import (PS2), the Japanese HD import (PS3/Vita), the HD release (PS3/Vita), and lastly on PS4. There was no "turbo" option for any of these, and it was still done without any headache.

Saying "don't do it" doesn't really add anything useful. We're talking about if you do decide to do it. I did it too and it took quite a long time. All anyone was saying is that the turbo option would shave off a bit of time.

If you just activate all nodes on the grid, it won't give you max stats. You need to rebuild the whole grid by removing all nodes that do not give +4 stats and replace them with those that do give +4. You also need to fill all the empty nodes. If you activate all nodes before doing this, you actually have to fill the grid twice lol

can you give me link to the bot to activating all spheres?
