LOW FPS??? (Help please :D )
Ok so I just recently bought this game ( and I am over the recommended specs i think , even though my graphics card aint that good till i get a new one) but whenever i try to play in 1920x1080 I get Massive FPS drops , going from 15-20 (and this occures most of the time) but when i play on 1280x720 i get barely any drops , I play with all settings maxed out (other than resolution which i want to do) so if anyone can recommend anything to help me i would be Thankful :)

Turn 8x MSAA off, that just eats all of your VRAM for no reason.

Also use Untitled Project X and run the game in fullscreen mode (by pressing Alt+Enter).

Those two things should get you up to solid 30 all the time.

Yes, you just delete 2 DLL files and it's uninstalled. It doesn't modify any game files.
Okay ill give it a shot! thank you so much for your help ^_^ i appreciate it
Ok so i just downloaded the mod and pressed alt+enter to go fullscreen but the slowdown seemed the same (i turned the MSAA of also) any ideas?

Keep turning MSAA, Post-Processing Anti-Aliasing and SSAO down. I don't know what GPU you have, but it's not cutting the mustard. You're probably seriously underestimating the actual GPU horsepower required to play at max settings.
ok yeah well im getting a new entire computer in july , i just wanna play this before then lol , andf ill try that XD , Do you know any settings i can turn down that will not make a difference ( really) to graphics but will improve performance?

SSAO and Post-Processing Anti-Aliasing make no difference image quality wise, but a big one performance wise.
Allright ill turn them down :) thank you . One last question ( sorry to keep bothering you ) but do you know what resolution the ps3 version of ffx Hd Played in ? was it 720p or 1080p?
Kaldaien Jun 8, 2016 @ 7:56am
1080p, but it didn't have anti-aliasing or anything like that. The textures on it were roughly equivalent to Medium in the PC version.

This is the PS4 version of the game, ported to PC.
Ok thanks :) so if i turn off SSAO And Anti aliasing i should be running at equivalent to the ps3? ^_^ thank you for your time !

I think the unsharp filter is also something unique to the PS4 version. I don't think that makes a big performance difference though.
Alright so im turning SSAO , AA and Unsharp filter off to have the ''ps3 version'' on pc lol XD i dont mind just as long as im not running the game on worse than the ps3 version :D
