Specs for 4K?
So, I have a R9 380 and a FX8320E, I know it's not the best hardware ever, but right now I have been able to run everygame, including bad ports like Bladestorm on best settings with no problem.

Since I have a 4K monitor and saw it was available, I tried it, but damn, everything was bad, checked Untitled Project that mentioned a few performance fixes, and I'm not sure if it did anything, cause it kept stuttering. Switched to 1080 and everything is more than fine.

I have already played PSVita ports in 4K with no problem using injectors, and I'm not sure if a PS4 port of a PS3/Vita port of a PS2 game is much more than that.

So while I guess I will play on 1080p, I'm curious, what do you need to play on 4K? Or is this just the side effects from a bad port?

FFX HD remaster is not using the PS2 engine for rendering.
Its using Sony's Phyre engine which has been used in a lot of PS3 and PS4 games.

Don't think any of the Final Fantasy Games that was ported to the PC is 4k supported as far as I know. They are more of 1080p supported than 4k.

I can understand that, but models and gameplay, it's not like models are significantly better, it's not like there is a lot more action, and it's not like there are ton of more models on screen.

Well, when I first opened the settings there was 4K resolution there, maybe it just shows resolutions available up to you current resolution, but there are many resolutions there, including 1200, 1440 and 4K.

Even before I got Untitled Project

I've played the game at 4K (my laptop's native resolution) on a Radeon R9 M250X. Your GPU should run circles around the piece of trash in my laptop. It runs at 15-17 FPS in windowed mode at that resolution, 29-30 FPS in fullscreen.

Ohhhh, guess I found the problem.

Since I was playing with my DS4 I didn't use the keyboard, now I just opened the game again, for some reason the gamepad wasn't working, so I pressed Esc to try to skip the intro, but I found a menu. On the video settings, I disable some stuff like V-Sync and Anti Alias as a test, and everything went smooth in 4K. :D

V-Sync is a placebo in this game, so it's basically just the MSAA setting that fixed it for you.

SMAA and SSAO are the biggest performance hogs.

I think a lot of the final fantasy games on PC support 4k. Unless you mean something other than being able to set the resolution to 4k.
