Dualsense Gyro to mouse mode not working well when using action set layers

I don't know if this is the right hub to report this bug but I couldn't find a Steam Input hub.

The issue is when pressing a button to activate a different action set layer that has no alterations to the gyro to mouse mode, the cursor changes position in screen seemingly at random, and it is unrelated to the movement of the controller.

I'm having kinda the same problem on a configuration I made for MS Flight Simulator, but in my case the gyro is mapped to the joystick configuration (beta).
I have a default action set with gyro enabled on/off using right paddle. Then I have an action layer set on the B button for managing throttle, enabling the left trackpad on a virtual menu and remapping the triggers.
The problem is that as soon as I hold B, the gyro stops working even if I have it setup also in the new layer. It doesn't work even if I press the right paddle or change the activator to "always active". In practice, when I try to change the throttle I cannot handle the aircraft, it's quite annoying...
