Gyro On/Off toggle?

Hey there

I have found the option to hold a button to activate/deactivate the gyro function.

Is there a similar option that works as a toggle? Click button to activate gyro which stays active once the button is released, then click the button again to deactivate, which again stays deactivated once the button is released?

Try left/right pad click. It should toggle when you click the pad in.

Cool, I'll try that later. That will be ideal as the setup I'm working on I don't use the right pad at all at this stage.

You can create a toggle by adding an action set for gyro. Disable gyro on default action set. Set gyro to always on for gyro action set. On default action set, assign whatever button you want to toggle gyro on with to switch to gyro action set. To turn gyro off, assign that button on the gyro action set to switch back to default action set.

If it works, you can still use whatever's assigned to either pad click, it'll still activate but it'll also toggle the gyro. You can also do what ugafan said if pad click doesn't work as i think it does. I can't test it right now it's late, but you can test it easily yourself and if it doesn't work then use ugafan's solution.

You can do it from the Steam Input menu, its under General settings in the Gyro menu. You can set it to be a toggle (on/off switch) or hold down to activate/deactivate
