What server do I join?

I'm new to this game and really like it but I find that I can't play on a server for more than a day. Every time i find an official server, there's massive bases every 5 steps and never anwhere to build, or it's aggressive and you can't last 5 secons without someone on a rex killing you if it's pvp. I would resort to unofficial servers but as i'm new to the game, I want a vanilla experience but all unofficial servers have about 10 mods and x25 multipliers. How can i find a server to join?

Hello! You could try out our server if you want, it is vanilla without any mods. Only the settings have been improved for better experience. So, it does have slightly increased rates, but nowhere near 10x or above. :)

Plus, it is 3 days old so there is plenty of untouched areas. Currently we are around 4-5 players.

There is a whole subforum of servers to check out. I'll just say this: do not play on official servers unless you know what you're doing and already have friends.

I play on a PVE server with only x2 boosts. It's good for a little sped up but over all we are pretty chill. Come check us out r/arkaberdeen

We've got quite a few friendly tribes and new players on our server, if you wanta tribe up or with our rates it's do-able solo.

Misfits Cluster is a slightly modded, ORP, PvPvE cluster server. We host The Island and Scorched Earth. You can build and transfer dinos/items/character freely between all maps.

We have active Admins who enjoy sharing the server experience and will only interfere when absolutely necessary. (griefing, building on high volume resource spawns).

It carry only two small mods that make the game more pleasant to play, but not drastically alter the experience. Our rates are at 10x so things are not grindingly slow especially when you are just starting to learn. The server is kept clear of unused bases and we have plenty of space to build. We foster a friendly atmosphere towards newcomers and I am happy to give you a hand at starting.

You can try our server. We are all chilled out adults who enjoy helping each other out, trading and generally chatting about things.

We have a mix of advanced tribes and lowbie/newbie solo players. Some bases are large others are small. Some players play from thier floating base boats.

Beaches are the most safe biome on the server - if there is such a thing as "safe".

KO's most dinos in one shot using a simple one shot rifle. You can craft the MEGA Dart when you find a BP but the dart is very difficult to make requiring such things as Narcotics, BioToxin, Angler Gel and some other things. The MEGA Darts can be found as loot items in Purple, Yellow and Red Supply Drops but they are very very rare and special loot items! Be happy when you find one! Making these darts or collecting them from supply drops is a quest all in itself!

Check out our server. We're relatively new with a low population so there are many good spots left to build we have slightly increased rates to remove some of the grind but not enough to break the game: 5x taming/breeding 4x exp 4x gather. For mods we're running AB Stacking, Versatile Rafts, Egg N Poop Collector and S+ Structures

Hello fellow ark peeps,
Are you tired of always finding a server to settle on and then after some time it playing there it goes offline or gets wiped after a few months ruining all the progress you had? Then i have some good news for you peeps! Let me be the first to present our Chill Ark’s 7 cluster map server. These servers are fairly fresh made,so plenty of room for all peeps nomatter if your new to the game or a hardend veteran. They Are all PvE so peeps can play and build without any trouble. The servers will never wipe unless its really needed due to a major problem or corruption. They are a German based host and mostly will have European peeps,but even overseas peeps will get a low ping so if you want come check us out aswel. As for mods there aren’t that many on the servers,just some to make life easier and make connecting goe easy and fast, but that doesn’t mean you peeps can’t put up suggestions through our discord server. With that said the link for our discord will be on here aswel so you peeps will be up to date with everything that happens on the servers.
