Can say for me it works with the Ubisoft+ Membership version flawlessly in cutscenes.
EDIT:
well it did at first, now its back to 31fps :D
Firstly, Special K will reduce your framerate roughly by 15-20 %.
Secondly, you will experience insane clothing physics glitches which will take away any immersion.
Wait for proper fixes.
Standard stuff, all correctly functioning implementations of Reflex will do this.
Might as well refund the game, because those fixes are not coming. The devs on Anvil Next are not competent enough to even read the NVIDIA Streamline documentation to correctly integrate Reflex or Frame Generation.
Their colleagues on the Snowdrop engine integrated Reflex for Starwars Outlaws with only minor hiccups (I fixed that game also).
Ran the game from special K and lo and behold, both dlss and dlss framegen were suddenly there (first time after about 20 load ups) -
i thought it was fixed..but no, they were both gone again after loading it again right after.
Ah well.
Framegen can be applied on top of the unlocked cutscene framerate as an additional option.
The game doesn't do that normally, so you probably need to enable framegen on the cutscenes to get the same framerate in cutscenes as during gameplay -- entirely down to your GPU horsepower, nothing to do with an artificial 30/60 FPS cap.
What version are you running?
25.3.21.4 is the latest.
yes that one
I have Assassin here, on Steam.
I disabled RTSS (set Application Detection Level to None).
I launch the game via SpecialK, selecting it in the list of games.
When the game starts, I go to the SpecialK menu, in the Assassin Creed Shadows section I enable the mode with fps unlocking in cutscenes and enable the MFG 4X mode for the framegenerator (I have 5090).
However, for some time the game runs normally (a few minutes), but then the character just stops controlling and runs even though I don't press anything, and then the game freezes.
Also, re-download and reset your config for the game. I enabled Flip Metering by default, but needs an SK config reset (right-click SpecialK.ini in SKIF and select "Reset Config").
This is Outlaws all over again, having to wait 2 months for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patches.
