I got the last big game, Valhalla, to run nicely on my Deck and Mirage ran great. I suspect it will be "Playable" like most if not all AC games to date.
But it would be nice to get a definitive word on that.
This game has similar requirements to FF7 Rebirth & Black Myth Wukong. I’ve tested both of those games on my Legion Go & Rog Ally (both Z1E). If it’s anything like those games; I expect my Legion Go to be able to do 800p (high settings locked 30FPS or unstable 40FPS range), 1200p (low-med settings mostly 30FPS locked).
On Rog Ally, FF7 rebirth runs around 28~44 FPS 1080p 66% scaling at 30w turbo mode.
So until Shadows release and I know for sure, I’d say steam deck will struggle even at 30fps. One of the game directors even specifically answered the game ‘at launch’ is not compatible for the game (I read that as it’ll likely not even perform 30FPS)
I´m playing on the deck just fine
Did the game just not boot for you before?
