No. Ubisoft never removes Denuvo from they games.

Also, you already have Denuvo on your system, as you have some Ubisoft games already.

HAHAHAH

You want to pirate the game just say it man. No, they won't remove denuvo because there was NO performance issue. and even there was, it's only 1-2 percent

Ubisoft considers PC players as being pirates, so the spyware/DRM will never be removed.

But AC Shadows, the game in itself, can be removed from accounts in the future by Ubisoft at any time (as what happened with The Crew).

🚨🚨Remember🚨🚨, it is very important🚨🚨: with Ubisoft games, you don't own the game.🚨🚨 That's an official statement coming from Ubisoft execs and dedicated Ubisoft fanboys.

You own your Witcher 3 copy, your Cyberpunk 2077 copy, your Disco Elysium copy, your Baldur's Gate 3 copy, etc, but that's not the case with Ubisoft games.

Ubisoft games are more expensive than other (and better) AAAs, plus you don't own the copy.

Ghost Recon Wildlands.

1. You can play it for free, despite it having Denuvo.

2. Where did you get your information that Denuvo causes no performance issues? Or is it 1-2%? Make up your mind. Did you test it yourself? What hardware did you use? Are you just regurgitating what you read on the internet? On an i5 4570 and an RX 590 I got about 60 FPS on medium-high on the uplay version. Not bad, right? Wrong. I got around 90 FPS in the Denuvo free version with the same settings. A 50% increase in FPS by removing that literal malware. Denuvo applies huge strain on the CPU. The performance hit is very noticeable on older CPUs.

Denuvo artificially inflates the system requirements, increases your power consumption and decreases your hardware's life expectancy.

So I ask you again. How did you come to the conclusion that Denuvo causes 0%, 1% or 2% performance drops?

And here's the proof that I legally paid for the right to play (not own) that broken Denuvo infested scam of a game before you even think about calling me a liar.

Upgrade your PC. Lmao
1. I have already upgraded my "PC". As in the CPU because that was the hardware non issue created by Denuvo in the first place. The GPU is meaningless to the conversation. I currently have a Ryzen 5600X CPU. And on this different system the performance in the Denuvo and non Denuvo versions are similar.

However the issue of higher CPU usage and higher power consumption remains in the Denuvo version. That cannot be fixed no matter the hardware. I am well aware that people like you couldn't care less about the life expectancy and resell value of their hardware so I won't bother you with more of these technical details.

2. You are uncultured. You are trolling. You have ignored every point I made. You have refused to answer any of my questions. You just replied with "Upgrade your PC. Lmao". You have mental issues. You are incapable to have a normal conversation with another human being.

Blocked and reported. I don't want people like you anywhere near me. You make me sick. Don't ever try talking to me again from an alt account.

You don't own your Steam games

You don't even know what you are talking about, as always with Ubisoft ecosystem lovers.

CPU usage is not an issue with this game unless your CPU is really really old, No problems at all with my 5800X and I doubt a 5600X will have a problem because the game seems to top out at 6 cores/12 threads and having more just means they go unused,

I call BS because there are no Ubisoft games where Denuvo was removed so how can you even make that comparison you claimed to have made?

You never owned any Games, it was always a Licence
On Steam you don't even have a license, you have a subscription. If Valve decides to take your account away you lose access to all your Steam games.

You already have several Denuvo Games so why its a problem here?

And about the "heavy CPU usage".... is your CPU from 2013?
Kaldaien Apr 19 @ 10:32pm
All Ubisoft games use both Denuvo and VMProtect. They have no real impact on performance thankfully.

If you want to see a DRM performance ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you should look to CAPCOM. They have their own proprietary crap that's obfuscated by Denuvo. THAT is how you destroy performance.

Yeah, they have the decency though to not charge a monthly fee for your subscription yet. Eventually, I reckon they will do that, because they're Valve, they can do all sorts of anti-consumer stuff and people will thank them.
