Games are non canon, and since Geralt is the main character its no wonder he manages to defeat every foe he comes across. After all thats how games are.
In the books Geralt gets his skinny ass get kicked every now and then.
Not arguing that. Hes obviously the most skilled Witcher in the series, hands down.
I was only refering to OP
as sayed cohen (young witcher) to ciri in books "i dont know who are best swordsmen but i know where you can find them - on graveyards"
One witcher was complaining about the poor armor he had and was taking on jobs to earn money to get better armor when he meets a monster too powerful for him and dies.
Another witcher is in a cave and causes a rock fall which crushes him.
It's familiar and sad and funny. Is Geralt the best or just lucky?
In the book he had some party helping him defeating some strongest foe he could face.
Geralt isnt Harry Potter :DDDD
He is probably one of the best swordsmen in witcher universe, yes in lore he isnt invincible but still realy strong, even for wizard or group of men in arms.
Only one oponent who beat him in 1v1 combat was Vilgefortz but nah he was most powerfull living wizard in that age...
+i realy want to see geralt vs leo bonhart ♥
Is he the best? Probably not there is always someone better.
Vesemir had more knowledge but Geralt was better overall. A young Vesemir?
Ciri is not a Witcher and arguably even with her abilities she would still lose.
Geralt defeated all of the Wild Hunt generals and they were her match.
Except you are the one showing poor reading skills here. When reading the OP whole post one can know what the OP is talking about and not get stuck by the title only, but reading through his whole post and understanding through context the 2 people who answered understood the correct context that you didn't.
Strength is strength no matter gow you look at it. Its not the same as swordsmanship or general skill.
You have no way of really being able to measure the other witchers due to not, as far as I am aware, being able to play them in game.
What does it matter if the other characters are "Stronger" if they are solely NPC's?
I personally think that, from an experience perspective, Geralt is the strongest, but that is only because he is the one that we have spent most of our time playing as, up to this point.
To get an accurate measure of strength, we will really have to wait and see what other playable Witcher characters are created further down the line in other Witcher games.
In several years time, it could end up feeling like Geralt is nothing but a faded memory in terms of strength etc, compared to later generations of playable Witcher characters.
