Hello Steam can i ask you discount code for this game?
I own 40 games, all i bought for quite a good money. Other services like Orign already gave me discount codes because i am a great custumer. Is there any discount policy?

There's a 15% discount on Green Man Gaming.
Buy the game from there if you want to buy it from a legit retailer that companies actually vouch for.

Plus you can use personal vouchers with the discount (public ones will not apply to your basket), i had one from earlier purchases.

I bought it because of the low GBP combined with a 15% off makes it cheaper than anywhere else.

Developers/Publishers can give out coupons for the game. VALVe cant just give you discount for games they dont own.

Well that explains why Orign can.

Well yes i don't have games like indie game for one 1 buck. I have great games but anyway. It's never simple to decide where to spend money. Games / Clothing. As a gamer i often choose games. But anyway... Why there are no doscount policy except sales?

Because company tend to make more money during sales. Cheaper price, but larger quantity. Everyone likes cheap stuff. Its all marketting.

If it's already 15% off at GMG, just wait for the Black Friday or Christmas Sale when it will be 50%. Doom is a way better reviewed game and was available at 50% off 2 months after release...

Because generally discount policies are used to move product that hasn't sold. Digital products such as games on steam don't have upkeep cost nor take up any space for the seller thus they have no need to "move" product to free up room for new product. Since this is the case they have no need to discount products. This makes the primary form of selling products "sales". Since the game just came out it probably won't be on sale for awhile (most likely till winter steam sale)

Any online digital retailer who is using discounts are actually just offering sale prices but in a differnt form to trick users into thinking they are getting a great deal ect ect. There is no reason to discount products that are all digital unlike with a brick and mortar store.

It have a 15% discount and they are a legit retailer unlike some other online shops.

Asking for a discount code isnt a gameplay thread is it. Look at the names of the sub sections. If anything its off topic but not really. So stays in general.

Now give the OP a discount.
