Uninstall this stupid AV app :)

Good luck getting rid of Avast. It's a complicated mess to uninstall.

Also, it does not do that normally.
You'll have to set it as a false positive in Avast. Then Avast will stop complaining.

Had to restart the PC, then get out NMS from quarantine. Now it works.
Before restarting NMS was pretty much blocked. Couldn't even verify file integrity.
False alarm I guess.

100% a false alarm.

Happens because programmers need to do one of two things
Either stick within the dos and don'ts of official programming guidelines "best practices"
or
Contact every AV company out there and see to that they're white listed.

When software doesn't work well with other "normal" software used by millions it isn't you who should have to adapt.

some of these programs are very touchy. Ive written stuff that set them off. The whitelist exists for a reason, but you want to set it so its whitelisted to RUN but still inspected by their executable scanner. Some cooties DO still inject into the executable file and infest it, and you don't want to make exceptions to scanning for that if you can avoid it. Modern software should be self aware enough to detect tampering of that nature, but not everything does.
