every few days i check in to see if something changes, also after updates from their side, but still as of right now, problem still occurs....annoying since the expedition time is running off...
Nvidia Drivers 472.12 and also did a files validation and nothing was wrong there.
They really need to fix this because it shouldn't be doing this. Like you, only No Man's Sky gives me this problem and I too am easily over the minimum requirements. The game has been tried on a high performance SSD, an m.2 drive and even a mechanical drive and problem still resides. I think it's something internal with NMS -- has to be that and how it links to the memory within your RAM or GPU. Rolling back drivers doesn't solve the problem for me.
FWIW, I have an AMD RX 6800XT. I remember seeing many issues in the past with AMD cards, but this one has been rock solid for me, and I see many more problems with Nvidia cards these days.
I suggest lowering your screen settings BEFORE launching steam then the game. THEN change them back how you prefer. Seems odd but it worked when i had similar issue.
Fact that they don't let you change settings in the game before launching is a serious issue for lower end comps. Wonder how many have melted...
He's on PC, he listed his PC specs
downloading a new driver rn, see if it fixes anything.
1060, i3 3.5ghz, win7 pro, 16 gig ddr3
it's to frustrating to play...
For me It was freezing of the screen or game crash.... Nothing helped BUT setting freqency of my GPU to it's base numbers. I had factory over-clocking (GC of gaming edition) and I didn't even know this. So, If you over-clocked your GPU set it to base settings. And If not - check the frequencies with the software of your GPU and see whether they are at base numbers.
Might be you have the same problem and it will help.
