Many games I have played have a different amount of time because I played them outside Steam. I have more time involved than what is listed -- usually because they are mod-able or because the creators had their client before it became available for Steam accessibility, or I had to use an English Patch. Then there may be some games that have cross-play, and I played them via mobile before getting them on Steam due to the release date coming out first on mobile.
