Like a 5% chance, and that's not even considering how few a number of games have split screen nowadays.
This would conceivably work as a co-op where you are nearby to each other, but since the game doesn't even have a "non-splitscreen" co-op, that becomes another "no" too.
Oh, and I seem to always be online, because I've been up all night packing the last of my things, as I'm actually moving to a new home today. I'm just about to unplug my PC actually.
It IS multiplayer, and it IS online. Yes there is a single player offline mode; and yes, even when online, the liklihood of seeing another player is low, but it is still a multiple player game.
