Did I pick the wrong galaxy? (Spoilers)
I got to where I had to chose one of 4 colors of galaxies to reset and chose the red one because I was in a hurry and couldn't find any info on what one was what.

If I was being sent to a galaxy I at least wanted one with the nicest/lushest planets and of course now I see I chose the harsh galaxy (calypso)...

How do I go back and pick a galaxy with the most lush/earth like planets and which color galaxy do I choose for that?? I heard you can take the Anomaly portal to other galaxies..

Btw, when I saw the galaxy transition cinematic, the screen was all white the entire time. I've seen it on YT before so no big loss but still..

Green. If you have a save from before you picked the wrong galaxy type, you can go back. If not, you'll have to either use the save editor to change your location or suck it up and go through the core.

Is there a way using the portal on the Anomaly?

And by through the core you mean do the Atlas thing again to that final station? I didn't go to any galactic core. It was just a the final station.

Technically that is "going to the core" when you reset a galaxy, of course my screen was all white during the cinematic so..

And hopefully you were clever enough to backup your manual save before overwriting it with the next manual save...So you can always change your galaxy after.

No. I've had this game for years and never had the patience to finish the story. I just wanted to finish the thing and it was 5 in the morning and thought between the wiki and YT there would be enough info but all i could find was a crappy YT video with no commentary that was zero help.

OK BUT...

I do not just want any old next galaxy. I want the lush (green) one.

And, I'm still getting Atlas station markers that I could follow. I don't know if I have the patience for that tho.

I do not just want any old next galaxy. I want the lush (green) one.
Beggars can't be choosers. If you can find someone with a base in a lush galaxy that will take you there, you're good. If not, you're screwed.

If you had picked the green orb you would have ended up in the Eissentam Galaxy. Luckily there is an easy way to get there with out going thru the core again. At the teleporter in the anomaly there are 3 featured bases that are sometimes available, when they are go to the one called Smugglers Pond, it is in the Eissentam Galaxy. Once you bldg a base in that galaxy you can go to and from at will thru any teleporter. You should build at least one base in every galaxy you get to so you can always go back if you want to.

You're sent to a random lush galaxy, not necessarily Eissentam.

Huh i thought so, too ... did they change it or was it allways like this and i was just luck ?

Thanks, but there still is that easy way to get to Eissantam, which is a green galaxy.

omg i was wanting to go to a lush galaxy without resetting, thanks for that tip!

They changed the featured bases, Smugglers Pond is not on there anymore.
