The game with most negative reviews?
The most i've seen was on Fallout 4 ,with 15K ,but that game was released long ago.
Now NMS has 18k ,hitting 20K probably this weekend. Are there any other games with such high negative review numbers?

You've obviously never heard of Infected: Survivor Stories, previously titled The War Z.

Fallout 4 and NMS are both genre defining games. But people are used to WOW carebear games.

Obviously the one where people wanted to define the broad RPG suddenly as "You voice the character yourself and have no backstory or goal or just 3/4 factions to chose from" just because skill checks were missing and one is encouraged to be more lethal~

What does the total amount of negative reviews have to do with anything? But okay, Dota 2 has over 53 thousand negative reviews, CS GO has over 100 thousand negative reviews. GTA V over 22 thousand. All of those games are the most played games on steam.

If you happen to mean the worst review scores, then "Day One : Garry's Incident" is famous for being one of the worst games on steam and has 19% approval rating. But I'm sure there are games with an even worse score.

LMAO higfhest selling game of 2016 to date gets the most negative reviews and somehow that means something. Guess they do not teach common sense anymore.

The game is a niche game with the highests sales for the year, of course people are going to hate AND love it. The review numbers are not particularly bad given the number of sales and the type of gameplay NMS brings to the table.

I find the game satisfying to play, maybe a bit pricey at 60 dollars but given I already have 50 ish hours of gameplay in I am obviiously getting my money's worth.

Yes the MP part is upsetting to me but overall the game is pretty much what I expected AND I expect NMS to grow with patches, DLS etc into a much bigger game.

When the new Sim City was released, it had a 1 star review for the whole first day. I have a screenshot of it, with over 1400 reviews and a 1 star rating. It was hilarious.

I'm glad I waited for that one to release before I considered buying it. I liked Sim City 4 and put quite a number of hours into it, but the new one is just bad. Even with the network problems fixed, it's bad.

Worst rating on steam for any game is Flatout 3: Chaos and Destruction at a whopping 13% positive.

Personally I would say Fallout 4, not because its objectively worse, as thats mostly all subjective, but because it confirms to me that the Fallout franchise that got me into gaming (Fallout 2 was the first game I truely played) is dead, and won't ever come back so long as Bethshit controls it, and I highly doubt Obsidian will come back after they got shafted over Fallout NV's reviews. That and I thought its was terrible in general, I spent 100+ hrs attempting to convince myself that I like the game and that I didn't hate it, saying to myself that it would get better with mods/DLC/patches, I wish I could take it all back and just refund the game and forget it ever existed, I was an idiot for thinking I could ever like it.

I at least don't feel that way with NMS, so thats a plus in my book at least.

Just the haters and jealous people who cant buy it yet giving it negative reviews, must mean the game is really good if they are this jealous

You cannot seriously be calling No Man's Sky a "niche game". It's an overwhelmingly popular $60 Sony game for multiple platforms. It was never marketed to a niche crowd - it was supposed to be for everyone, including explorers, scientists, traders, fighters, etc.

Both great games, steam is full of kids, kids don't like these games it's too much for their brain and kids don't have a lot of money, hence they play Dota 2, CS and TF2...

It's niche genre. How much money it's made isn't a factor in it being anything less than niche. Star Citizen is in a niche genre too and it's done ok.

I'd be willing to bet Batman Arkham Knight is pretty high up there given it's bad release...

Though honestly this topic is kind of pointless as like other users have stated such scores rarely mean anything about a game truth is whether a game is good or not is completely subjective based on the player.

But all those games you mentioned are more challenging than NMS and Fallout 4. Also, kids have rich parents unlike me supporting myself through college. x_x
