When is there a new expedition? Or reply of old

I think there was an expectation of a new expedition about now but maybe too much to hope given the Switch thing. Will there be a new expedition soon or at least a replay of the old ones?

Since Expedition Mode still exists in 4.0. It can only mean that there will be one soon. The facts are a mystery till then.

Looking forward to the next one as well.

Although I am also hoping for some repeats of the earlier ones, I was not around for the first few and I think I was very new to NMS when I think Expedition 3 was around.. not sure if it was that one, the one with the Mass Effect ship.
So I actively didn't play it because of that, not that I particularly care about Mass Effect anyway.. not a fan but I would still like the option to go back and unlock those past rewards too just to have them completed.

Expeditions are a lot of fun.

the Normandy was first in Expedition 2: Beachhead... then again in Expedition 2 Redux... the Redux versions of the expeditions have been modified so they're playable in like 3 or 4 weeks instead of the original 6 weeks allotted to play them...

so we had 1-4, the redux of them, and they were followed by 5-8... now we're waiting to see if we get redux plays again and if so, which ones they'll be and how long they'll be...

Normally there is a file ("SEASON_DATA_CACHE.JSON") located in our save subfolder /cache. This file is missing since v4.0. So we have no idea when (def when and not if) the new Expedition starts.

Honestly it could be tomorrow, it's been 4 days since any activity on SteamDB. HG does not wait too long once the patches settle out for a new release.

Plus where is that heat map of updates...? Weren't Tuesday/Wednesday popular days for HG?
