Where is Space Anomaly REALLY located?
If you enter a photo mode while inside the Space Anomaly you may notice you're not in your star system anymore. But what's interesting is that you're ALWAYS in the same system. Which is blue space, a white star, like 4 planets, 2 of which have rings. Does anybody know the REAL location of that place and how to get there?
My guess is - it's in the ODYALUTAI galaxy that has been made inacccessible some years ago . It's not removed from the game, you just can't get there in any other way other than multiplayer if you have a friend there.

Any guesses on the real location of Space Anomaly?

That is a good guess..a system that is blocked years ago..maybe it is locked because of the anomaly is causing too much time interference with that system and it is in a state of time flux.

Random related question... If you go to this final locked galaxy through the save editor... what happens? Can you map it out like usual for other galaxies?

people say that yeah it's just a normal galaxy.

Yes, it's just another galaxy. If you watch YouTube much - many of the NMS content creators will have community nights and one of the things that usually takes place at least once during the night will be piggybacks to 256.
That's how I got there first. Not a community night, but by joining someone in 256 and plopping down a base there. :)

I just realized I have been to
Odyalutai. I got there through the Anomaly portal a month ago. Thanks to whoever made a base in that galaxy for me to join.

I have a lot of bases in Odyalutai. It's not blocked. The galaxy AFTER it is. At one point in the early days, there was a galaxy 257... but now if you jump from Odyalutai you get put in the Hilbert Dimension. I know because I just did this a few days ago.

what do you mean it's not blocked? then why does the NMS wiki say it's no longer accessible with normal gameplay other than having a friend in there?
And how can Hilbert be the next galaxy after it is Euclid should go before Hilbert?

Assuming that is true and there is a Galaxy 257 ... then that would mean that the galaxy count is not a 1-byte integer... it would have to be 2-byte at least.... which would mean 65536 galaxies.... which seems... unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.
