Every system will have a pilot or 3 that sells tritium. It's kinda random. Just stay at the space station and talk to EVERY pilot and buy up all the tritium and dihydro jelly.
Once you have 30 frigates, you will use a TON of both products for mission fuel.
If such bounties are not on the list, do some delivery or pirate hunt bounties (both will not decrease standing) to roll for new mission.
Also I believe if you attack freighters that are not generated as a bounty target you still get standing penalty.
If the purpose of my new survival mode save wasn't to have it remain pristine, I would have used the save editor to add them. I've definitely put in what I feel is a fair amount of time to find them (couple hours).
Floating around reading all the labels on freighters isn't exactly what I enjoy doing with my time. Shoot'em all and see what I get later is my usual approach, but then I have to empty the inventory often. While I only have 100mil Units, I don't really need to buy anything, so I can just delete stuff and carry on shooting things. But... It's kinda boring and I'd rather do other things.
So, I will keep sending out those frigates on missions and visiting my freighter in yellow star systems. Maybe 10-15 minutes shooting some freighters as I pass by some, but not going to grind it and burn out on the game.
Mods in NMS are pak files you just drop in the MODS folder and are enable by just putting a ENABLEMODS.TXT in the parent folder. These pak files contain data that overwrite the one from the game. If more pak overwrite the same, the last one wins.
They are ordered in a sort of HG alphabetical order, you can manipulate it by changing the first letters of the pak's name, for example.
If you use a few mods that don't modify the same things, you can just drop all of them in the folder and you should good to go, otherwise there are tools to check conflict and, for mod provided with the LUA script, that allow you to recompile (if a new update to the game breaks them) and even merge more mods together, to get all the features (like the two I posted above).
You can get them from your fleet expeditions and from the missing freighter missions that you buy for 5 millions in stations or you get 1 free per week at the anomaly.
