Giving items to other players

I select a item in my inventory, but no option to give it to someone ?

They need to be pretty close to send an item. If they aren't available to send to, stand closer.

Its the same way as if you transfer some stuff from your Inventory to your ship...if someone is nearby he will be in the list, too

Are you in the Anomaly or multiplayer?

In the Anomaly, you select an item, just like you would to move something to your freighter or ship, and the players within range will show up at the bottom of the list. Some may be grayed out because they can't receive it. I have not gifted anything to friends in multiplayer, outside of the Anomaly, so I can't speak to that, However, the process should be the same.

It should also be noted that you cannot give items to players from your cargo inventory. Doesn't matter how close you are, the option simply won't appear. Items to be traded must be in your standard inventory.

Standard inventory - quick transfer - choose the player. Keep in mind you need to be at least 10m from one another or so.

I can also pick from the ship's inv., my exo inventory is always full (which is a good thing no one can send me crap)

Highlight the item or place the pointer on it and press X if you are on the keyboard. The list of 3 of your inventory and 3 players, if available, will appear.
