omg starbirth is such a hassle [SOLVED]
EDIT: To any1 wondering the solution is to buy commerce (economy?) maps on space stations, go to a korvax system and find trading hubs anywhere in that planet. Wait for pilots to drop down and trade with them. If they're korvax, they'll sell korvax casings

getting a korvax casing when you actually want must be what feels like sticking a knife up your ass

Fabricator crates can give them, craft a bunch and keep farming til u get one, or you can go to a korvax system and trade with the pilots that land on trading posts

@Ellis my best option is to use commercial maps to find those trading hubs right?

If you keep placing green boxes in your base eventually it will contain one.

If you then delete all the others you can keep farming them when you need one. You can do this with all items and the box will always provide the same item once you have build it.

I for instance have a antimatter box on my freigther. If i wanted i could place green boxes until i got a antimatter casing box. You get the point.

Stand in a Korvax station and talk to every pilot that flies in. They're very commonly sold by pilots.

Not station, it has to be those Trading Posts.
