That will not work, you cannot stay there in SP, it's a forced 2-way ticket.
May be a little too late for you, but I had the same issue you did. But if you check your discoveries, you’ll see that you can set a waypoint to any system you’ve discovered before, except the ones in separate galaxies, that’s how I was able to find both the Galaxy and the planet I spawned. After that just add a planet in that system to your wonders, and you’ll get the portal glyphs for it. Hope this helps someone
