Why am I losing health on habitable planet...???
64 ' Ferinheight

4.6 Rad
.04 Tox

I have full suit bio-shields but they won't activate only have the health meter that gradually depletes...
Not playing Survival Mode only on Normal play game.

Why would this be?

Sure you're not confusing the health meter with the life support meter?

Both are white. Life support is below bio-shield, actual "health" is on top of the screen. Life support always drains on any planet.

Yes, I meant the Life Support meter.

Why would it drain to 50% in 15 mins on a habitable planet and I have no bio-shield meter active and visible above it?

Walking , drains it at slowest rate, running drains it faster, and using the Jetpack drains it fastest. 1, 2 or 3 arrows of drain, which show up on right hand side of Stamina Bar. Bio shields only activate in inhospitible conditions, when you gain another bar above the stamina on that is different colorued, blue cold, red heat, yellow radiation, green toxic.

Shouldn't it recharge though?

Mine doesn't recharge...

You have to manually recharge it. The bar is effectively your suits Lifesupport Systems energy reserve. It powers your suits systems including your jet pack. You are using the power so have to recharge it.

Stamina Doesnt recharge ,It needs to be recharged using Oxygen, or the Oxygen apsules or life support gel.. The Bio shields that recharge when safe are passive shields, active shields also have to be recharged manually. They use a variety of materials including Sodium and Ion batteries.

No, it never recharges. Apparently the Traveller you play as cannot survive in any atmosphere and their suit must always be recharged.

There are no planets where the survival meter doesn't go down. Only place where its fully safe is stations.

You can also change your apperance in the station and one of the forms, the travellers, does look vorlonish.

To Kilo_60: watch out for water, man. You'd think with an encounter suit that will let you breath on any world you'd be fine in water. Nope, you have an in water protection bar and it drops FAST. Swimming getting to the top of the water doesn't really help much either. I learned that the hard way. Very counter intuitive.
