Jumping with melee attack problem?
I just changed to an experimental s-class weapon, but I can't seem to perform the melee attack- jump to move faster anymore. Why is this? Is it something specific to experimental weapons, or I just bugged out?

Not sure, when I changed from the starting multitool to a new one, mine really slowed down and doesn't go as far as it did either. Don't have an s-class, it's just a B. Maybe it has to do with the size?

Oh god, maybe that's it. So, does an Alien weapon have the same problem when it is 24 slots? If it doesn't, then this is an absolute reason to choose an Alien over an Experimental.

A lot of people have made posts aboutr this, it appears anything other than a pistol sized model mutitool has issues with getting the melee attack move to work. In another thread someone actually posted details of how to use the Editor to chance the multitool model to pistol model, keeping the 24 slots and bonus, but making the melee attack move work again.

Oh i gotta know how to do that.
I really miss melee boost and i dont wanna get a pistol.

I've mostly used experimental pistol in pre-NEXT. Mostly because it was the best tool I could find (never saw an alien...) and the rifle animation kept bugging for me.
Now in NEXT, I finally got a 24 slot A rifle and it immediately hose my melee-boost and the animation kept getting worse. The rifle would block my view during use.
When I started up the next day, I could actually melee-boost again and the rifle animation was good -although it started messing up again after I toggled to desktop a few times.
Restarted game and all was well again.
So, I guess I've seen it from all perspectives and, for me, it was fixable-ish.
I do a lot of exploring a planet on foot so the melee-boost was an integral part of that.
