I want to play and like it but constantly managing slots ruins it for me

I have a few hours logged in the game but I am constantly running into no slots in my suit and ship. I have a 23 slot ship. I can't mine effectively because I don't have storage to make it worth while. I find myself constantly juggling things around just to have slots to check containers that I run across.

Any tips from the pros out there?

Yeah. I restarted last week following many problems with atmosphere harvesters and portals and the like. I managed about two evenings. The space is one thing but the hopeless technology and hazard protection and limited money... even learned words and not having AtlasPasses... it's fine when you're starting out but, once you've already experienced a certain level of the game, I think it lacks replay value.

Perhaps a better way to say it might be starting out not KNOWING is fine, but starting again and knowing how much you need to achieve is overwhelming. I'm not sure I'd say it lacks 'replay value'. I'd say it's a little frustrating to start over knowing how much you have in front of you.
And it's actually an interesting item for those who keep saying there's 'nothing to do in the game'. Untrue, there's so much to do it'd kill ya if you knew how much at start.

Damn... thats a beautiful multitool !

For OP... pretty much what people have said... upgrade your suit slots including cargo. You ship... carry like 1 stack of plutonium and 1 stack of titanium (shields and launcher refills) Thats all you need. Eventually you'll upgrade to a bigger ship too which will help.
