for myself, I never have more than one station in my teleport list when I'm in my base... it's always just the last system I returned from.. it's been my conclusion that is due to the fact the previous system I teleported back to base from is too far from the last system I teleported back from, so it's dropped off the list...
other players have reported that their home teleportation list has a system on the edge of the center of the galaxy as well as their home base system.. which was clearly 150k+ LY apart..
I've never been able to teleport to any station except the most recent one I tele'd in from
OP topic is discussing teleporting FROM home base.. two different sentences in my reply denote using the base terminus to teleport TO other systems.. Nobody said there was a maximum range to which you could or could not teleport back to your base.. As long as you're in the same galaxy, you could teleport 300k LY back to your base.. of course, you'd have to explore to the outer edge of the galaxy, build a base there and then teleport to it from the center edge, but it could be done... but nonetheless, we're talking about teleport FROM the home base...
You don't like a system? Then don't teleport back to your base from it and it will never appear in the list.
If for any reason you want to fly back to a system out of the list, then set a waypoint from the Discovery page. (or re-locate yourself by changing the Galaxy Adress, hehehe).
This system works best for me.
This is the way it's supposed to be, but I can't even use this method..
Actual depiction (distances may be off, but example of the experience remains valid):
88k LY to center and I find a system with a fighter I really like the look of, so I teleport back to my base and return to the system.. this way an entry of the system should remain in my teleport list..
Later in my journey, around 50k LY to center, I find a system with a cool golden science ship that I like, so I do the same thing.. return to my home planet to add the system to the list of available systems to teleport to..
But hang on.. my base terminus doesn't have the 88k LY to center system listed any more.. in fact, the ONLY system I have listed is the most recent one from 50k LY to center... I never reloaded the game, never exited the game, only kept saving and moving forward.. So what happened?
I've had a full list of four systems before, but only when they're close together... so it's my personal conclusion that the teleportation terminus does have a maximum range between returned systems and once that range is exceeded, the previous systems returned from are removed from the list...
but like I said, I've had players contest to this as well, so no one's figured this out definitively yet and HG hasn't weighed in on the matter...
teleport to base adds it to the list, teleporting out from base removes it. as long as you teleport back to base from that location, you're golden.
at least this is how it has worked for me. only way anything stays in the list is if i teleport back to base. if i want to go explore a different system, i fly out from base.
In this case my system above will not work that easily I guess.
AARGGGH, this Nada...He promised me a 'shortcut to the center' and that's what I got...
But I can get to that black hole again: I just teleport to my base and back to that system, see...I trick this s..o...b.. anyway...
Mine always seems to give me two listings, the one in my system, and the furthest one on my journey path. I hope this was the info you are looking for. ;)
