I don't have any help to provide but I'll describe the bug further for anyone else.
After spending a lot of time last night putting down roads and many many pavements to a new area, and doing minor tweaks to old area, I saved my city. Today loading it shows some additional long pavements going across the tile. They cannot be directly removed or interacted with. Removing pavements/roads/buildings they connect to, or building on top of them (no warning about removing them) makes them disappear but saving and loading will make them appear again same as before.
Usually I have a lot of success finding information about my problems via Google. Nothing much about this bug though - this topic is the only one that seems to definitely discuss the same issue. This leads me to think the bug is either very new or very rare.
I activated and tried the Phantom Lane Remover just in case but it found nothing.
The map you use is a custom one ? if yes, his made before or after the After Dark update?
You know, open the road tool, hit page down, then use the bulldoze. You may need to page down or up to find the road ... Same with bulldozing those other funny paths, etc ... :/
so i have a very good game but i can't play with it since few weeks... :-/
I was told to try this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=536250255&searchtext=lane+remover
It did not work for me.
I have tried lowering the terrain but the road is still unaccessable to bulldoze.
It really sucks because it has ruined my save. My city was coming along so nicely. :(
I guess on my next city Im going to not use any road assets from the workshop. I think thats what it is from.
Hope you will more lucky for your next map !
But thank you for the time you take to write this. Hope it will help someone else !
