Bug : Indestructible roads appear

I could not see the noelshack picture provided by OP, but based off of dom8943's description of a figure eight, I'm guessing it is the same bug I encountered. Though it may not work for everyone, I have found my solution.
Using "Move it!" mod, I highlighted the entirety of all nodes/segments in the direction of where the roads glitched. You could even say I just highlighted the entirety of the city with the selection box. For me, it highlighted the affected roads. I kept highlighting over and over again with smaller boxes until it narrowed down the location of where it was selectable. I then deselected the irrelevant nodes/segments until the only things highlighted was the bugged road. Finally, I used the mod's provided bulldoze option to get rid of it.

Someone can help me?

I have a similar issue with my pavements as of last night. Without mods or custom assets in use. One of them even looks kinda like Nayla's screenshot.

I don't have any help to provide but I'll describe the bug further for anyone else.

After spending a lot of time last night putting down roads and many many pavements to a new area, and doing minor tweaks to old area, I saved my city. Today loading it shows some additional long pavements going across the tile. They cannot be directly removed or interacted with. Removing pavements/roads/buildings they connect to, or building on top of them (no warning about removing them) makes them disappear but saving and loading will make them appear again same as before.

Usually I have a lot of success finding information about my problems via Google. Nothing much about this bug though - this topic is the only one that seems to definitely discuss the same issue. This leads me to think the bug is either very new or very rare.

I activated and tried the Phantom Lane Remover just in case but it found nothing.

Thank you for your contribution on this post.
The map you use is a custom one ? if yes, his made before or after the After Dark update?

In Nayla's screenshot, it looks like the row of trees are from an underground road. Did either of you try to use the "page down" button to look in the ground, then delete roads?

You know, open the road tool, hit page down, then use the bulldoze. You may need to page down or up to find the road ... Same with bulldozing those other funny paths, etc ... :/

@CellNav : Good idea but already try, when i go on the groud or use a terrafor tools, sometimes i have only three floating in the air or i have some road with the three but it's impossible to bulldoze it...

I have the same issue. It deforms the terrain too. It looks just like the screenshot with the trees lining the road. I never placed this road. It just randomly appeared. Has anyone figured out what causes this and how to fix it??

Same issue, start again and hope it doesn't happen again.

I was told to try this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=536250255&searchtext=lane+remover

It did not work for me.

@kingybear : same for me, already try but nothing change... :-/

They look like roads that had been placed before the terrain was highered. I have had it before. They are not roads that have been built as tunnels but actually placed then the terrain has managed to generate over them some how when I was modifying it with out realising it. You need to lower the terrain until you get to the level where you can bulldoze them. If you want to share your map/city then I can upload it and delete them for you if you can not work out what i am on about.

Nope, i don't make any tunnels and when i terraform the terrain to see road, sometimes the road apper or only the tree but both are indestructible.
Artophwar Dec 10, 2015 @ 9:35pm
The terrain was never changed in height before and I never placed those roads.

I have tried lowering the terrain but the road is still unaccessable to bulldoze.

It really sucks because it has ruined my save. My city was coming along so nicely. :(

I guess on my next city Im going to not use any road assets from the workshop. I think thats what it is from.

@Artophwar : maybe you're right, after 5-6 attemps to start a new city, I gave up to try without mods/assets...

Hope you will more lucky for your next map !

Don't know if anyone is still having this issue. I've had it happen twice to me. The two times it has happened to me, there was a figure eight type design of the roads. If you lower the terrain and zoom out, sometimes you can see the roads, but this is not necessary to get rid of them, just might help you locate the intersection of the figure eight. Also, check under water for trees that are road type lines and it could lead you to the other loop of the figure eight. Anyway, the way I got rid of it, is by zooming out as far as I could, activating the bulldoze tool and moving the cursor slowly around the area in which I think the figure eight intersects with itself. if you position the bulldoze cursor just right, it should highlight half of the figure eight, then you should be able to bulldoze it. Do this same thing again on the other half of the figure eight and you should be good to go. Hope I was able to properly put my thoughts into words.

Since my post, i change my pc and until now, didn't see that again.
But thank you for the time you take to write this. Hope it will help someone else !
