how to build a monorail station on the street?
if i try to build it it does not work.

Is there no other way to delete the street and then placing the station?

Shouldn't it be like that that you can build monorail stations with street directly on your streets or monorail rails?

The only way to do it is delete the street and place the monorail in road station where it was.

I dislike the monorail on road station because its a pain to place plus if I ever want a higher caps city road there I have to delete the station. As a consequence, I just build the stations at the side of the road.

I can fix the no monorail over a road problem.
You'll want a few things:

Using network skins 2 with the monorail network selected, change the pillars to one of the pillars from the rail over road train tracks. You'll want to make sure road guides are on if you want to get the monorail centered. I suggest you build at a height of +4 meters when running above streets when using these pillars. You'll need fine road tool for that, and depending on where you're placing things, you may or may not need road anarchy while those pillars are selected.

After you've placed your line, use move-it to make the lines curve match the roads curve. Then when your monorail line is exactly where you'll want it, use the move it tools picker selector in multi-selection mode to select the pillars. Turn off all other selections, and group select all the pillars on your line. Zoom in and use move it to raise the pillars up slowly until you are satisfied with the height of the pillars relative to the monorail line. I suggest raising the pillars until the metal spaces between the two lines just vanishes into the pillar.

Using this method you can literally put a monorail over any road you want. You can also make it work with other pillars depending on road width vs pillar width, but you will absolutely need anarchy on at all times with other pillars.
Here, for example, you can see I'm running a monorail line over the 4+2 road from the NEXT2 Pack.

I've come to much prefer this method over roads with monorails built in for a number of reasons both aesthetic and practical. If you use a monorail road on a slope, you'll notice the monorail line flattens out at every junction, since junction nodes need to be flat. This results in a stair step effect which I don't like. Plus, when it comes time to connect your monorail above road to a station beside a road, it is much easier to get something that both looks nice and functions well with this method vs using a monorail road, as the segment that connects a monorail line to a monorail road has proven to be a huge pain in the rear end to get it to look right and keep from simply ceasing to exist at certain angles.
