Drinking glasses
Something I liked about 7 Days before was that when you drank something you got the glass back. It was a little detail that I know could somewhat break the balancing of part of the survival aspect of the game, but was a realistic detail. On the new build, unless it's a bug, the glasses just disappear.
As I mentioned before, I do understand the survival aspect of it, having 300 reusable glasses by the end of week 1 does make the hydration aspect stupidly easy to manage, but now I have to wonder what happens to the glasses? Do I eat them? A happy medium for me would be if they replaced the glasses with cardboard cartons. Those you can't reliably reuse, so it would make sense that they disappear, maybe make them out of scrap polymers too. And maybe for mid to late game, make reusable glasses a reward or rare drop.

Yep, not a bug, a design choice. Now drinking water is incumbent on either looting murky water and/or dew collectors. I strongly recommend both strategies for the first several days, until one can craft around 3 dew collectors, then it's pretty much all the drinking water one needs.

i am on day 8 without using a dew collector and now have over 30 water sitting in my chest whilst still having a stack of red tea and a few extra.

Yep that works as well and good for you. I am on day 5 and have more than 40 bottles of water and half that in murky water.

crunch...crunch.... but to be honest, this change is whack they took our glasses and gave us a collector but in the end instead of 200 jars of water i have 30-40 jar of coffee/yuca/teas/etc.. There is no diffrence to drinking. Took a boring mechanic away to give us another boring one with the same result. Balancing in dire need i guess.

funny how in 1.0 they didn't address this at all. i consider this a bug, even if the developers apparently don't, they don't give any explanation how the glass just disappears, feels like they are trading realism to try and make their game harder. i greatly respect realism in survival games, not stupid mechanics the devs come up with to lazily make it harder
