for some dumb reason my windows task bar is in the way of my screen in the game, and im in fullscreen mode, and it doesnt do this with any of my other games.. how do i fix it?

Make sure you aren't using borderless mode.

Go into game setting and make sure Full Screen, not Windowed is checked.
There's an accidental key combo you can hit that does what you're seeing.

that fixed the problem with the task bar.. thanks.. but now, that mode for some reason makes it so that if you press the windows button or tab out of the game or press ctrl alt delete it makes it so that you cant go back into the game and you have to end up closing it and rebooting it every time.

Not sure if he was refering to ALT+ENTER, it switches from window to full screen.
Anyway seems your issue was a bit different, but is worth a try ;)

R-click on the windows Start button.. choose properties.. select the "Taskbar" tab... check the box next to "Auto-hide the taskbar" and click OK. Now you have to move mouse alll way to bottom of screen in order for the taskbar to show... this is a work around for you issue as I'm not sure why you have this problem for sure. That's actually my preference for Windows start bar though.

If so you should write what you did, not jst what worked but what did not. That way someone will be able ti find it and solve theres more quickly.

i just turned on exclusive full screen mode, and that fixed it, however in that mode you will be restricted to only having 7 days 2 die screen up, cause if you press windows button or tab to another app it will make it so that you cant tab back to the 7 days to die app, forcing you to close it and reboot the game, other than that, it works to make it proper fullscreen mode if for some reason it isnt in proper fullscreen mode.
