Quest 2 in game a menu button not working

I understand steam VR needs a menu button to be able to navigate inside steam but taking over the existing menu button is a problem ... Can you R can anyone tell me is there a way to either turn off the steam menu button and get back my original in game menu button? Or allow both buttons to have different functions like holding down the menu button will bring up steam VR and pressing the menu button will use in game menu. I've tried this kind of thing in key bindings under steamVR beta and it just does not work. I would appreciate your help please as soon as possible thank you
