VR Button missing top right

I am not sure what to do. I have tried many things to try and get the VR logo to appear on steam. It does for my partner, but not for me.

Yes I have Steam VR installed and it does work when I hit play. I end up having to hunt for the tool instead of the VR icon being on the top right of steam

Wow. I have never realized that the VR button in question can be used to launch SteamVR although I have been using SteamVR over 3 years. You can launch it from so many other places, like from physical buttons in VR headsets or controllers, or from Steam menu in system tray besides the Steam library that I also rarely use for that.

Well having an Oculus Quest means I can not open Steam VR from the headset itself. The only other place I can find to open Steam VR is by going to my Library, turning on tools, scrolling down to Steam VR, and turning it on there.

Try system tray, I have found it the most convenient way to launch SteamVR. Should work with Oculus Quest too. Should work, but I haven't used mine with link cable for a while.

I have Steam always on and it's icon is set to always show at the system tray. Then I can launch SteamVR easily with just two clicks: 1) right-clicking the Steam's system tray icon, and 2) left-clicking the SteamVR entry in the menu. SteamVR is always the second from the bottom in that menu and their locations don't even chance as I have Steam's system tray icon set on always show mode. I could do those two clicks blindfolded as I have repeated them so often.

Interesting, I did not realize that that was in there. While that is quite helpful I am still perplexed at the missing icon.

Do you have the Big Picture Mode button there? That should be similar button in same place at the right corner. Not having that would indicate you having a more general UI related problem, while having that there and not a button for SteamVR might be just SteamVR malfunctioning.

I've got the same problem as of today. It was there and working normally in the last Beta, but today Steam updated and the button disappeared. Not sure what to do other than re-install.

Same here. I know you can launch from other places, but it was just so convenient.

Not sure if it was related to the update, but Pavlor isn't loading up. Played the day before the update and everything was fine.
