Left/Right Sound is reversed?
So, as simple as the title says, in every game/app, or even simply testing the sound in the windows settings, anything I have plugged in to the vive has reversed sound, Left is right, right is left, ect.

Nope, every device I have tried so far is fine on my PC, but reversed on the vive...

Did you try to change what input you use?
I think the vive has 1 or 2? using USB or the HDMI

also how is the Vive connected (HDMI to HDMI? something else? are you using the orignal cables?)
whats your specs?

The vive is connected using all the original cables provided, and as instructed on the steam VR setup guide, I'm running Windows 10 64-Bit... What other relevant specs do you need (If any)?

What GPU?
and with what device sitting are you connected? Sound over USB vs HDMI

Running a GTX 760 (Underpowered, I know...) But uh, not entirely sure how to know if my sound is running over the HDMI connection or the USB connection... Under playback devices, the device I'm using is called "HTC-VIVE-4"... I see three devices that say "Not plugged in" which are NVIDIA HDMI Output (Port 1), through to (Port 3).

Just found that there is also "Speakers, 3-USB Audio Device" which plays sound for the earbuds currently connected to the vive, but it's also backwards...

I have the exact same issue. Tried it on 2 different system, running windows 10 64 on both, 1080 video cards and i7 processors. Audio works fine except from the vive audio port on headset.

I'm having this problem. My other audio devices are fine but the Vive audio is reversed. How did ya'll fix this?

I'm using GTX 1070 and using Displayport to Vive box.

This needs to be pinned, since the issue crops up once in a while, just after everyone forgot how to fix it. ^-^;

Hey, I fixed it by unplugging the USB in the Vive Box that goes to the headset, then plugging it back in! I hope this helps others in the future!
