Reinstall the oculus software on the pc... that fixed some issues I was having.

Having the same issue. Reinstalled everything, and it's still dropping me. First day I got it, worked great for a few days, played Dance Collider no issues, today I buy Beat Saber, and it's lagging and dropping me from the game to Home Screen.

Having the same issue. I cant play a single game that I've been able to in the past, and instead of just the games crashing, SteamVR crashes and I get dropped back to my Quest home outside of the Quest Link

That is exactly what is happening. The game continues to run, I can hear it still running, but I am at my home screen, and thus fail levels. Not sure what changed, but I feel like it's a change with SteamVR, because nothing with my system has changed, and all my drivers and software, including my windows is up to date.

I found my issue, and that seemed to be that my SteamVR was conflicting with my Razer software. I would exit my Razer Cortex first, then run my Oculus, then plug in my link cable, run SteamVR and no crashes.

Exactly the solution I needed. THANKS

You need a powered USB hub, it works for me with Rift S. It started to happen after last December Facebook forced a faulty update that semi-broke SteamVR compatibility.

EDIT: I uninstalled Razer software, I'll report back if this will fix the problem.

Lol you're welcome. In all honesty, I just did hours and hours of google search and found the solution, and I'm of the mind sharing is caring. So shared with the class. LOL

Ugh leave it to Razer to be the problem again. Every Razer product I've ever owned has been a problem in one way or another. Either breaking easily or causing conflicts.

Facts. Ridiculously high usage and constant conflicting problems. I don't use Razer anymore, never worth it
