as i was removing a partition i appear to have lost my game data/progress for all my vr games. where should i look to see if it's actually been deleted or moved?

Of course if your Steam is installed on a different drive replace the C drive for the drive of your choice. Once there you should find all of the game folders.

Some game data/progress files are stored in the default Documents folder, usually on your C Drive.

thank you, and yes i see them on my alternate hard drive (T:) I see all the apps and their data/progess. How do I tell steamvr to check this data? my main startup drive (C:) is my SSD and space was getting limited so i changed the library folder to my T: drive.

I do point out if a game set up on Steam right the saves need to be in Steam/userdata
Common is the games them self

Some games how ever have there own places to keep stuff like My documents, or appdata
