How to remove app from Recent App panel in SteamVR Home?
Arizona Sunshine has an offencive app icon that I'm trying to hide when my kids play with the VR
Is there a way to remove an app from the Recent App (Recently Launched) panel that is shown in the Steam VR Home environement?
Hidding the app hides it only in Steam, removing the app manifests from the SteamVR directory has no effects...

I don't know how to do this, but an idea is to have a second account with family sharing to the first where only the games you have started for them will ever appear... I think. It means account juggling though so might not be very convenient :/ Maybe it could be with separate Windows accounts? So long since I messed with that kind of stuff :o

This is a workaround that appears to suppress display of an application in SteamVR. Note, I use a second steam account for the applications that I wish to not be visible to the kids. So this may not work if you are using same account.
For each application...
1. Right click on app select properties, select updates tab, select only update when I launch it otherwise it may show up in your downloads list at an inopportune time...
2. Find the app id of the app to suppress. Go to community page (in steam) for the application and make note of the number in the URL... example Rec Room community page is: https://steamcommunity.com/app/471710 so the app id is 471710.
3. If SteamVR is open, then exit it.
4. Delete steam.app.{app id} file in the {Steam}\config\vrappconfig directory. So on my system to suppress the display of Rec Room, I would use file explorer to go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\vrappconfig and delete the "steam.app.471710" file.
Now it will show up on the bottom of the list
5. Move or rename appmanifest_{app id} file in the {Steam}\steamapps directory. So on my system to completely suppress the display of Rec Room, I would use file explorer to go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps directory and rename the "appmanifest_471710" file.
Note - Going forward, I recommend investing in a removable drive and adding a second steam directory on the removable drive. App won't show up when drive is not plugged in. May still need to delete the file in the vrappconfig directory if you launch it from inside SteamVR.
