I like to use it on Pak guns so my Sherman can one shot them.
EDIT: I also like to call it on the OKW Medic Truck...
Can anyone confirm whether it also behaves like a smoke screen? I have lost Shermans thinking that they were being sight-blocked by the smoke rising from the WP...but they weren't.
It does act like smoke, but its unreliable sometimes due to positioning of the initial blasts.
However, i have seen a lot of bad useage of WP barrage, by using them like incendiary barrage.
What makes using it like incendiary barrage bad? (Or, I guess, what is the way Incend. Barrage is used?)
I call it on tanks or infantry blobs as they usually assume flares = actual artillery and will retreat their tanks and give me breathing room to get up AT or regroup and heal.
Infantry blobs work the best, I call it BEHIND the blobs so when I hit them with armor or my own blobs, retreating takes them directly into the flames and combined rifle fire + phosphorous damage mops up infantry very quickly.
