and veachle aurora buff wich later can become an infantry/veachle aurora buff
and the fact that you dont need the Panzer HQ to get it pulls it abit out of balance
I think it's a "relic" (get it? huehuehue) from OKW's special snowflake past.
Its veterancy bonuses:
Vet 0 (default aura bonus): +20 sight range, +10% speed, +10% ac/de-celeration
1: Unlocks the 'Combat Blitz' ability
2: +10% armour, +20% health, +10% weapon rotation speed
+20% accuracy buff added to aura
3:-10% reload, +10% rotation speed, +10% ac/de-celeration
-20% reload
4: +5 range
5: Infantry affected too
It's a bit bull, considering Ost's Command P4 aura doesn't get buffed with vet either (but does affect inf at vet 0). I've seen this thing become massively OP in team games, where the stacked aura bonuses boost team mate's vehicles massively.
Imagine the horror in team game in 3 vs 3 or larger with vet 5 command panther + sturm offizier + command pz4. I can't even imagine how infantry will perform in such environment.
Kinda annoying that OKW players are forced to use this commander because allies can get armor on the field so much quicker. The 3rd OKW truck costs 135 fuel just to put up...then you gotta wait for another 200 fuel to build a regualar panther. If the 3rd truck costed less im sure alot less people would use this commander.
Well, but letting a Command Panther become vet 5 is kinda the enemies fault. I mean, it's more expensive and gives buffs, it should always be a primary target.
but the fact it such great stats to begin with means killing it is textbook example of "easier said than done" especially when its protected and micro'd well.
It has the same stats as a regular Panther, but has all of these aura buffs (doesnt stack on the Command Panther itself) for no extra cost. So it's really a win-win.
1. Its not more expensive.
2. It comes at 10 CP.
3. Yes vet 5 is somewhat difficult to reach. It is a Panther with added bonuses. What more do you want?
