Everybody seems excited by this guy. What is he famous for?

You've never seen Flash Gordon?

Oh right. More research is needed.

Having said that does anybody else thing that he doesn't actually sound... right, for Gotrek?

His voice probably isn't gruff enough I think. But it's BB so I'm happy/

I can't tell if this is a good sign, or a really really bad one.

Sounds a bit like a manic episode fam.

VT1 has a lot less of it and therefore the game looks crisper and cleaner. I think it has a bit more colour saturation as well. Whilst VT2 has a LOT of blur and doesn't look anywhere as crisp. I think its colour palette is a bit more bland as well. But that's just my opinion.

You can turn DOF and blur off in both games.

I do, and it's quite clear why VT2 leans on both settings so much.

I have the game intsalled and even just being the Red Moon Inn it looks way better graphically and visually then Taal's Horn Keep.

Yes, it's like the cornerstone of how Warlords motivate their underlings. That's why I was confused, I wasn't aware that wasn't common knowledge.

Breeders (i.e. females, obviously) are one of the few things that can make Skaven overcome their natural cowardice. If you stumble across one of their chambers, you have a few minutes to get the ♥♥♥♥ out before literally the entire den pour in to rip you to pieces.

I mean I knew about breeders but I didn't think either party really had the capacity for that. I thought they basically used artificial insemination and warpstone buggery and that was that.

Horny cowardice?

The birds and the bees Reverend. Do the Skaven get the urge to smash?

I know they sometimes offer the chance to breed as a reward, so I assume so.

I thought Skaven used a form of twisted IVF to inseminate breeders though? I can't imagine some scrawny Skaven runt doing er...much with something the size of a Skaven breeder.

Or can I. Further study is needed...for research purposes of course ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

Well, "To Kill a Mockingbird" is one of my most highly rated movies ever so I don't mind. I'm not a "black and white snob".

"Man-thing breeders" I believe is the common term, or just "breeders".

Do Skaven have sexuality though? I mean even rats have primal urges to breed.

Dirty Dancing is a cheesy 80s film, and thanks to you, I now have half the songs from that movie in my head. The CA rep's comment was almost certainly in jest.

That said, I'd love to see Grom and Croopin Lump dance off like in the end of that film.

Oh gawd that reminds me of what's being plastered everywhere on Australian TV at the moment..

Well "It's a Wonderful Life" is a Christmas movie about a suicidal dude who's basically deleted from reality for the span of a night to show him the effect that his death would have on the people in his life. Basically a "see, people really DO care"

Probably a movie that I should get around to watching then tbh.

Did not know that, but that makes sense. I know mammoths are closer to today than the pyramids.
There were mammoths still knocking around when the pyramids were being built

Also, the pyramids weren't built by slaves but by workers who were well paid, well fed and well respected. They were buried right next to the pyramids

...I really like historical fun facts

Mammoths were barely around by that time though.

It's interesting though, that at Cleopatra's time, the pyramids were as ancient then as Cleopatra is today. Even maybe more so.

Without playing the latest DLC, Sotek pack without a doubt. Salamanders and ripperdactyls are something new to the roster. The best units in the latest DLC are two non-existent units

Red skinks were a great addition for me. The Sacred Krok is stupidly powerful, but it's just a better version of what we have before, also they look utterly stupid. Dread Saurian gets damaged pretty quickly, must be the size, does not offer much different from previous dino units anyway, just bigger.

Ok I'll probably just buy the P&W pack and pick up the latest one when it goes on a decent sale.

Man I cant imagine playing humans in a fantasy game, what kind of reprobate plays the same race they are in real life? :p but in all seriousness it is cool they gave the faction I never play an update, if theyd just get to the damned greenskins.

Because it's fun being humans facing off against various creatures and monstrosities with seemingly insurmountable odds. It's why like 50% of Warhammer lore (including 40k) is just that.

And Dwarfs most certainly are an inferior species.

Yeah, they should in theory cause terror too. Though, I'd think hellpit abbos, dragons and demons might be the worst imo.

Also, minotaurs are the biggest PITA to fight in V2. I'm sure there's a strategy to fighting it, other than dodge all attacks and shoot, but I haven't worked it out yet. Unlike the other bosses, his attack patterns are seemingly random.

But hellpit abominations, dragons and daemons aren't exactly common enemies. Your average empire soldier in the Drakwald isn't likely to see them. They'd fight gobbos and average beastmen a lot of the time. Then a pack of 10 foot walls of muscle that exude a "you're ♥♥♥♥ed now" aura came hurtling at you with a bloodthirsty appetite...

Still annoyed Kroxigars don't cause terror. How can anyone fight these things and not want to run the ♥♥♥♥ away? Don't give me that there are other things to be scared of in the Warhammer world, it causes the same amount of fear as goddamned zombies and skellies, which are about the least scary fantasy things you could fight.

I still think Minotaurs would be the scariest thing to face as a soldier. At least in the "relatively common monster that you'd face in the Drakwald" category.

And I miss it when it was only the Skaven.

Chaos Warriors and Beastmen are stealing the spotlight.

The original VT is better than VT2 in my most correct opinion. Idk, it just had more charm about it and it had some classic maps.

The new DLC is getting poo poo'd on a bit in the reviews. It seems that the primary reasons are bugs (it's CA, that's to be expected), Nakai being "boring" to play due to the inactivity of the vassal you create and the (im)balance of some of the new units (again it's CA, that's to be expected).
