a) on your own in 1vs1 or b) with friends in an arranged team.
Don't bother with anything else and you'll never have to complain. If you do bother to put yourself through the rest however, you don't really have any right to be angry about it. You know damn well what you are getting yourself into.
I already know this, but sometimes you don't have friends online to play with.
And that's besides the point, my point is that this game would be ten times as good for everyone if china just had their own region. Sure, there are bad player from everywhere but chinese players just take it to another level. If you see a chinese name on your team you know already that it's a 95% chance of losing (specially in bigger teamgames, 2v2 is still possible to carry alone). Random queueing into teamgames would be fine for the most part if not for all the chinese players.
Shodan is right.
1vs1. Or Prematched team w friends.
If complain about random allies..
Look up definition of random.
Go ahhh.
Never have same problem again.
I'm not complaining about RANDOM allies or enemies. I'm complaining about chinese allies or enemies. How hard is it to understand? lol
Random allies, if you exclude chinese players, are for the most part fine and makes for good games. Maybe 90% of those games are actually good and fun.
However, when you get matched with chinese players it's the reverse. Atleast 90% of those games are just horrible.
No idea, but it's really bad now. Wasn't like this just a year ago. Doesn't matter which time of the day you queue, they are always there ruining your games. Not fun to play against (way too easy wins) and not fun to play with.
No it wouldn't. Then it would just replace those idiots with idiots from another part of the world. The issue is not that those players suck, but that those bad players land in matches they don't belong in.
What does it matter if it is some Chinese player who misunderstands the basic concept of the game or some guy from the US or Europe with a reaction time of 30 seconds? It does not matter to the outcome WHY a player is bad, just THAT they are bad.
Not true at all. Yes, it doesn't matter where the player is from if he is bad. As I've been saying the whole time; the likelyhood of a chinese player being incredible bad is a LOT higher. What part of this don't you understand? They play like robots, thinking it's a moba with "lanes" or something, never ever moving outside of their "lane". And just bad micro etc. Of course not all of them, there are good chinese players as well. But you very very rarely see that.
How often have I seen other players (not chinese) play in this type of manner? Not very often at all to be honest. Maybe 1 out of 10 (probably less than that) is on that epic level of being garbage at the game.
Aren't you forgettng something? When those players suck - in this case because they approach the game in an unfitting manner - then they wont exactly win all the time now will they? Ergo they will rank low. If "the likelyhood of a chinese player being incredible bad is a LOT higher", then so is the likelyhood of them ranking incredibly low.
Now that would normally protect good players from having to put up with that ♥♥♥♥. However we all know there often are not enough players around to guarantee no mismatched results. That's the sole reason such mismatches happen. Chinese players or otherwise. Getting rid of Chinese players doesn't get rid of the underlying issue.
And yet, those "mismatches" almost exclusively happens with chinese players.
You also talk about rank like it matters in this game. You can be top 500 easily with like 30-35% winrate. And rank 2000 players regularly get matched with top 100 players.
If it would solve the problem if they increased queue times in favor for actually getting good games, I'd have no problem with this. I'd rather wait 10 minutes extra than be stuck in a complete cancer game for 30-60 minutes.
Here is the thing though that you don't seem to understand. I'd rather take a rank 2000 non chinese player any day of the week over a rank 2000 chinese player. Both will be bad, but at least the non chinese player is most probably not THAT incredibly bad. Seriously, AI is better than the type of chinese player I'm talking about. At least the AI caps stuff.
It matters to matchmaking. It's the basis for it, no matter what you believe it to mean. That 2000+ players get thrown together with top 100 players doesn't change anything about that. I already said bad matchmaking results are a common thing and everyone has to put up with it.
The queue times are already as long as they are, because matchmaking widens the search. That's why large rank differences are possible. In team modes matchmaking also uses the avarage of all team members to match both sides and not individual scores. You can make it not widen the search past a certain limit, but then you sit in queue until enough people join in, that would match those parameters. A potentially endless wait.
Yeah I know what you mean, but it is nonsense in my eyes. To me a rank 2000 player is a rank 2000 player. The reason is irrelevant to me and the result is always a not enjoyable match. So why do you care again? At least with the kind of players you describe, you will instantly notice it and can just leave.
Wouldn't mind a region lock for China, in fact I'd pay extra for that feature. I mostly play 1v1 but even then they are so terrible it's not even really a fun game.
No, and no and just no. All of what you said would've made perfect sense IF the chinese players on average were on the same skill level as non chinese players.
But they are not. In fact, they are way way WAAAAY worse on average. That is why if china had their own region the overall skill level would go up and make for better games. Matchmaking wouldn't be perfect every single time and queues would probably be longer, but at least it would be a lot better.
This still makes zero sense. If player X is "way way WAAAAY worse" than player Y, then how could they possibly be on the same rank? If Chinese players were generally way worse than everyone else, they'd just form the bottom of the leaderboards and everyone else would be ranked higher. Simple.
So go to the leaderboards, flip them upside down and tell me what you see. How's that going to improve by removing every Chinese player from there?
You might also want to consider, that having a player play like he's thinking it's starcraft 2 is one thing, but players who are so bad, they cannot even deal with that, is another.
Agreed, and they always spam surrender at the moment of everything not going 100 percent well. I only surrender if we are getting base camped, they are a cancer in every game I have played.
Oh my, I can hear the China Man defense force incoming.
