Yeah I agree. Just feels like better maps have been withdrawn from the pool while red ball remains.
Tbh I'd be happy playing Steppes 99% of the time and the game could really do with more open maps of that nature.
Totally agree
If you play Soviet or Wehr.... You will lost 50% of the map if you retreat once.
I don' find it terrible (better than that horrid 5 star castle map), but I agree that some of the maps taken out of the rotation were better than Red Ball.
Sometimes I think it would be fairest, if maps were square. Not mirrored or anything, but just with the same width and hight to avoid giving certain factions/builds/units benefits through that aspect alone.
Tbh I think all factions need FRPs or none at all. I'm in favour of none as I think losing an engagement should keep that unit out of the battle for a bit longer than retreating behind a bush for a minute then coming back fully manned and healed. I know thats hyperbole but you know what I mean.
I would however love to see the Wehrmacht and Soviet HTs able to drop medical supplies at a moderate munitions cost and of course only without their respective upgrades. They are often overlooked and overshadowed as it is, so why not boost their support role a little?
I would say that the Soviets are the ones who should get that given that most Ost Heer infantry units can already self heal, or heal others, at 15 munitions a pop after vet one. That and the 252 already gets plenty of attention given its flamer ability.
That's the one with the ambient minefield in the center of the map isn't it?
Played it once. Permanently vetoed after it.
No, that's Vielsalm.
Lanzerath Ambush is a snow map where there's town on the left and maze-like forest in the right.
The map is also asymetrical. The bottom side got fuel in the town while the top side got fuel in the middle.
It takes like 5 minute to retreat, Heal up and get back to the fight.
Vielsam yeah. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful map. Yeah Lanzerath is ♥♥♥♥ too.
