Mod in Convoy

Is there a way to have mods in my convoy? I don’t think so, but I want a confirm.

No mods are allowed at all at the moment. If you have mods active the Convoy button will be greyed out.

Not yet. It's still in Experimental Beta. Let them get it working and then they'll add mod support. ;)

Mighty Griffin Tuning pack DLC,
VOLVO FH Tuning Pack DLC,
you can brink them in convoy.
or if you Don't have them, Buy Them before.

All mods can't be in any multiplayer session, unless all players on the server have the same mods, else they can't see the mods in the game you use.

And thats why you can't use mods in Multiplayer.

That's not 100% correct. The reason you can't use mods right now is because SCS disabled access if mods are present. Mod support is a planned feature for Convoy. But as evidenced by the DLC requirements being lifted, it is not impossible for people to play with mods that don't match. You will likely have them streamed to you like it does if you're missing cargo DLC.

I would guess so. Probably the host tells what mods are necessary. If they get streamed is another question, since many of them are very big (looking at some ai vehicle or map mods). I am curious how it will pan out

Will they add mod support for 1.41. Like ProMods or other sound mods and stuff ? I mean it for multiplayer of course while being in a convoy.

Will be at some point but not currently. The most important part is to fix the biggest issues before mod support will be added.

In other games I've played that did similar P2P for MP, they could stream and auto-sub to mods from Workshop, however, any mod from somewhere else had to be present in your setup before you tried to join or you just bounced in and out when you attempted to connect.

if for example i have mighty griffin tuning dlc can my friends see the dlc tuning parts or is it like in truckermp?

Yes, your friend can see the parts, but they cant use them

.. dang .. just learned how to skins friends truck for convoys .. but cant use it .. arrgghhh .. so many hours, wasted!!!
