And stupid admins.
Not the best place where you want to spend your time.
Start a new profile dedicated to MP playing, use the time now when 1.37 is not supported yet to build up some XP with a new profile - there are XP/Cash builder mods - if you wish to build up a profile quickly.
Your friend may also use Promods map with Truckers MP and they are likely parts of the map that don't see as much traffic. You may be able to play quite well with little outside interference from nuisance players. Your friend likely has reasonable experience on playing. If you wish to give it a go, then do so on the understanding with your friend that if you feel that your game is being spoilt by outside interference then you will stop playing.
Other times empty roads.
No thanks. I prefer single player with traffic and no trolls who will ram me just for fun.
Personally, I've driven hundreds of thousands of kilometers in TruckersMP with little incident. Where there have been problems, it was easily resolved. It's a game. If someone is there to ruin your fun, then ruin their fun. Report them and move on. They'll get their ban eventually.
As with any game or community, you'll hear the enraged more than the people enjoying the game. The people who are mad are far more vocal about things than those who have no issues. Thus making the bad seem more likely to happen, but that's definitely not the case.
Experience it for yourself. Follow the rules and no trouble will come your way.
Most Truckers on Simserver act like mature people and won't try to crash into you.
People that already have issues with TruckMP and call this "toxic", should avoid playing ANY MP game, tbh.
Ofc, there are a few idiots, like everywhere, but its only 1-2% of the Playerbase and those kids nearly always take the same few roads with huge traffic.
