Ghost Mode?

When I start a new job I keep getting Ghost Mode flashing at the top of my screen. I have no idea what this means and can't find it on the truckers MP. I THINK it may mean there is no traffic, but am not sure. Can someone explain this to me and if its a bug, tell me how to shut it of or fix it?

You enter "Ghost Mode" every time you connect to MP. This is so that you don't present an obstacle to other drivers as you spawn into the game. It takes a few seconds for the server to render your truck and prior to the introduction of this ghosting, people would slam into users who were spawning in the middle of a roadway or similar location.

Thanks for that. I was really worried for a while, but I think this would have come up before, or would have been mentioned in TruckersMP to help new players.

I'm really glad to see this question and reply - searched for it because I have just started to play ETS MP and I noticed that it seemed to come up every time I logged back in, and sometimes when I am in the middle of a job as well! I sometimes see a text message in red at the bottom left of my screen which says something about reconnected... but the typeface is too small and it is often gone too quickly and I am never quite sure if it is a message to me or just general chatter. Is there a way to make the text bigger? I tried to look it up on the MP forums but just found lots of posts about deliberate ghosting and pressing F1 and so on, and how it should be banned - which confused me because as far as I know, I'm not doing anything to deliberately cause ghosting & I didn't want to get banned for something I wasn't even aware of...

So if my understanding is correct, I have no need to worry.....???
