Copy my profile for multiplayer?

I want to play ETS2 in multiplayer with external program but I read I have to copy my savegame/profile because it could be damaged.
So how can I copy my game, cauise I dont want to start at level 1 in multiplay. thx.

You could use something like this on a new MP profile. That should make money and XP a non-issue.

thx, BUT Its not all about cheating, I meant I want to keep my garages, my emplyees, all my street Ive been driven since 40 hours.
Is it not possible to copy that profile? If not, I will risk it to take my first big savegame to truckersMP and hope Im lucky.

Here's the way I do it:

I just use the same profile. Resetting the economy every couple days isn't a big issue for me. It takes 20-30 seconds to get jobs again(using console OR just sleeping). Nothing major.

On the other hand, I do have a separate single player profile I use, but I hardly play on it. So mostly I just use the one I use for MP on it.

I know nothing of copying over data from save to save other than controls. The simplest option is to just have 2 profiles. One for MP, one for SP. And it isn't cheating if it isn't giving you an unfair advantage.

No I want a copy because of my many kilometers I just drove through europe. Only money and exp is not the way I meant it. I have 20 garages now, not funny to buy all again and drive thousands of KM. Is there no chance to simple clone that profile?!!

You could simply clone that profile, sure. But cloning it isn't enough. You need to move the data(or copy it) from the profile.sii file over to a new profile as the savegame names are randomly generated.

So I make a new profile and then I copy all files from the old profile folder into the new? or what? And what do I have to edit in the SII file? I only see strange symbols in there.

That's what I was talking about. The data you need to move over is inside of that profile.sii file, but I've never bothered to find the tools needed to read it and move the nessessary data over to a new profiles' profile.sii file.

Simply copying the files in one folder to another doesn't do anything.

I copyied my profile now!!!

- create new profile
- copy old content into new profile
- open profile.sii with a decypter
- rename the username/profile with new profile.
- save

In game I now have 2 profiles. 1 fpr singleplay with 20 mods and 1 for MP but with all my trucks, garages , kilmerts and so on,

All I did was take my SP profile into MP had no issues. But I do back it up after i finished playing ETS2 just in case. I even take my save back to SP if I fancy a change but I seem to be just doing MP now as the AI does my head in.... The only way to copy a profile is to copy the whole folder before going into MP then use your SP saves you have now... Back up as you go .. Then you won`t lose what you did in SP as you made a copy 1st..

Thats only a backup you made and not that way I wanted it.
I have now a complete own profile just for MP without playing from the beginning ;-))
And its not only copy a folder, its editing a SII file

How did you end the Sii file? I downloaded the edit thing but it did not work the bat file
