After buying first truck...
I have put in 20 hours so far and am ready to buy my first truck, I know once I own a truck I need to bear in mind I need to get to my pick-up point first but was wondering, after I finish one job will I stay in that same place and have to make my way from there or will I be back at my base each time as if by magic.

You will be on the delivery location, but you can fast travel to any of your garages. Even with fast travel time will pass tho, so if you have a loan to pay it will be deducted from you wallet at noon.

Also keep in mind that traveling with no trailer is wasting time/money.

Simple answer No! Unless you want to travel back to your garage

you will be where you stopped. Just try to pick up the best paying job near there and go from there.

You do get extra XP for "free roam" driving.

Don't worry. You will get plenty job offers at the city you are now in.

I can't remember the last time I went to my garage. My home base is in Leipzig. I went down through northern Italy, through France, spent some time in Great Britain. About to head back to Germany. Where ever the best job takes me is where I go.

So yes, take a job in every town you go to. Be sure you pass by every question mark on the map. You'll discover truck dealerships and recruitment agencies.

this. Ive only played about 10 hours but instead of searching through all the jobs available just click on the city your in on the freight market map and do the best one from your location. This is the fastest way to make money as you will always be making deliveries right after another and you will see alot of Europe in no time.

Not to mention there's more satisfaction in doing jobs with your own truck than with the random ones you pick up doing odd jobs here and there :)

Dunno. I think it had some epicness to the game. I have my own truck and I know it through and through but when the game gives you a 400Hp Iveco low-cab for a 30Tons crane and then a 700Hp Scania deluxe-cab for 10Tons of tomato, that's interesting.
