How do I assign job/load to my driver
I have 3 garges, 2 trucks and 2 drivers. Now, how do I assign a load for a driver?

You don't you just put them in a truck and they do the rest. :stop:

How do I get his lazy ass into (put him in) the spanking new truck that I got for him? lol
My garage is in Hannover, the truck is there and so is he. And, I'm in Lille FR. I forgot to buy him mobile phone, so I can't call him and tell'im to get going, somewhere.. somehow - heh. Now what?
I need howto for the n00b :)

In the truck manager.

Once you assign the driver to a truck they require no further supervision unless you want to manage how their skill points are distributed:nogo:.

10-4 got it! Nothing was happening unitl I took my load and started to drive. As soon as I got going with my load, my drivers took off autobotically :)) Thanx for all the replies

Whenever you're in the menus, the simulation is in pause mode.

will my drivers get better paid job as they level up?

Yes, they develop their skills the same way you are. As the level up and get more skill points they can haul more profitable loads.

I agree with staryluj.
After assigning a truck to a driver they will not take their first delivery until you take one .
After that though they will drive and rest without supervision. Your only input is to manage their specialities with ADR and Long Distance generating the best return so should be the first focus at least to level 3. Economic driving has least effect but may slightly reduce costs when driver returns home without back load.

Nonsense. Just like you your drivers will earn more money by levelling up as quickly as possible, so just like you they need a point in each of Long Distance, High Value, Fragile and Just-in-time plus a second one in the latter before you start focusing them on any particular skill. That way they pick up the XP bonuses and open up more job types, all of which affect their profitability more than just forcing them on to Long Distance or opening up individual ADR certificates.

(For the full background see an old but still accurate post in this thread Skill recomendation?)
