You know them extra lights and 2 tone horns that you put on light/bull bars..?
can you make them work in game, or are they just......there? cos i turn on all my lights even high beam, but i can't get them to work other than beacon.

As Yoster said, the Horn and the Airhorns [the ones you add on to the truck] are different. Default Horn is "H", the Airhorn is different, you'll have to go into Keyboard Options to find what the Hotkey is sorry as I have remapped all my keys.

For the Lights, I don't know how they work... "L" is your Headlights, "J" is your High Beams, but not sure about the extra ones you add, they don't do anything for me.

If you want to test out extra lights to see how they work, go to the cabin view and turn on headlights and highbeams on a dark road at night. Then toggle your extra lights on and off. You WILL notice a difference. Like someone said earlier, it's like daylight at night.

That should clear up some questions on horn sounds for people.

I was under the same assumption that the horns were for decoration as well until last weekend. I was looking at the key map in the options and noticed the air horn key, tried it out and noticed the difference between sounds. Apparently in patch 1.6.1 they added individual air horn sounds. At least it stays interesting for the veterans.

Regarding the horns you mount up top. They are NOT automatically used when you sound the normal horn. You must use the "air horn" button. There's a BIG difference between the normal horn (which is what the people in this thread have been trying) vs the air horn, which will only work if you have horns mounted up top. Once you do that, you'll notice quite a difference between the various horns you put up there.

Have fun!

when this topic was made that feature wasn't in the game, untill 1.6 air horns where just decoration

You had to dig up an almost three year old topic, just to say that?

If you got a big sound system for your pc watch out with how much you have turned up the volume. These horns are indeed very loud. I got several complaints when honking them. My neighbour could hear me honking, lol. :steammocking::steamfacepalm:
